TECHNICAL TRAINING
T.S. Srinivasan Centre for Polytechnic and Advanced Training (CPAT) established in 1997 provides a high quality technical training to aspiring individuals, to further their advancement in today's competitive workplace. Presently, CPAT is a full fledged Polytechnic with state-of-the-art facilities, offering Diploma programs in the fields of Electrical-Electronics, Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering. The Centre, in addition, provides skill upgradation courses in various technical areas to industrial personnel.

CPAT has been established by the TVS Educational Society and the assistance and sponsorship of some leading members of the TVS industrial house - Sundaram Clayton, Lucas TVS, TVS Motor Company, and TVS Electronics.Other industries of the TVS group - Sundram Fasteners, Wheels India and Sundaram Brake Linings - support the in-plant training program by providing workshop facilities and ably trained personnel. The Centre is fittingly situated near Padi, the industrial hub of Chennai, where the majority of the sponsoring industries are located. This proximity provides easy access to the in-plant training programs and facilitates regular interaction with the industries.
